CLUB RIDE DETAILS..........
At the December meeting, we talked about the annual club ride. The ride has been rescheduled for February 16,17,18.  Karen made contact with the resort and it will cost each member $35 deposit before the next meeting. The cost is the same if we stay 2 or 3 nights, so a few members are talking about going up on Thursday afternoon. If you are interested in that, let me know and I will get the to Greg about the group that wants to go on Thursday. It sounds good, just might have to take a day off and head out early. http://www.northernresort.com/ check it out.
This Just In...
The Groomers are ready for the season
Both of the groomers are ready for the season. We had to do a few repairs and updates on the new groomer, we added a toolbox and place for advertisements on the east end groomer. Many thanks go to Harold Smith for his hard work and dedication to getting things ready. Also thanks to Randy, Tyler, Dave, Frank, Craig, Rico, and anyone that I may have forgotten.
Poker run and scavenger hunt news.
The poker run and scavenger hunt ended at Boondocks on January 28th. We made some decent money with the door prize tickets, and we had a few less poker run sheets turned in than last year. The weather seems to play a part in the turnout. Remember that you don't need to do the run on snowmobile, it just makes it a little more fun. Thanks to all the businesses that supported us with door prizes and gifts.
REMINDER... CLUB DUES MUST BE PAID TO ATTEND RIDE.
Only PAID club members are eligible to attend the annual club ride. We will be staying at Nitschkes Resort in Minocouqa and everyone that is intending to go must bring your $35 deposit to the next meeting or you will not be able to go along.

Weekend rides
-There are a few club members that would like to see us set up a monthly short ride. It doesn't have to be a long or overnight ride. We just want to get a group together and go out and show support to some of our sponsors. We could meet at the shed or other location at a specific time and head out for a short day of riding. Of course we need snow first, but it would be a good way to get the club members together more often and keep us more in touch. It would also be a good opportunity to take some more photos for the website. Lets see if we can set this up when we get some snow. Our trails will be groomed and ready to go.
